As per the mandate of RTE Act, the Government of Assam, Department of Elementary Education had decided to conduct Teachers' Eligibility Test with the objective of recruiting meritorious and qualified teachers following the guidelines and norms of National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE). Assam TET will make candidates eligible for the latest teacher recruitment in the state of Assam. Just like other Teacher Eligibility Tests, ASSAM TET will have same exam pattern, syllabus and other eligibility criteria. Here down in this article, we will discuss all these important points.

Assam TET 2019 Exam Pattern & Syllabus

Minimum qualifying marks:
To qualify in TET Examination the candidate must score at least 60% marks. However, 5% relaxation in marks will be given for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD (Person With Disability)(PH).
