B. Ed. Special Education (Mental Retardation) Eligibility Criteria

There is two different category for the B. Ed. Special Education (Mental Retardation). Details about both categories are given below along with the percentage criteria.

A2 Women Candidate with Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the programme RCI letter no. 7-128/RCI/2015 and NCTE 2014. 55% marks

Eligibility for choosing the pedagogy Course: The candidate will have to choose only one pedagogy course. She must have studied one subject from the pedagogy courses offered by the college in the qualifying degree, i.e., Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree for at least 200 marks and obtained at least 50% in this subject. Candidates are advised to carefully study the following table showing the subjects that are considered for selecting a pedagogy course.

Application Fee

Candidates applying for the postgraduate course at the University of Delhi have to pay the registration fee. This DU Entrance Application Fee will be non-refundable.

Application fee amount is different for the different category students. So candidates have to pay the Delhi University application fee according to their category.

  1. The registration fee for SC/ST/PwD: Rs. 250/- for each course
  2. The registration fee for all other categories such as General / OBC: Rs. 500/- for each course
