NEET 2019 Application Fee
Students applying for NEET 2019 must pay a non-refundable application fee. This fee is mandatory for all the candidates. General and OBC must pay Rs. 1400/- and SC/ST/PH are required to pay Rs. 750/-

- Online Mode i.e. Debit/Credit card and Net Banking:
- Check the validity of the Debit/Credit Card and keep it ready with you while logging on to the website for submitting Application Form. Candidate should enter the information asked for and make payment through Debit/Credit Card.
- Through Net Banking, check the balance in your account and keep all credentials ready with you while logging on to the website for submitting Application Form. Candidate should log in with his/her credentials of net banking and make payment through Net Banking.
- Cash Deposit through e-challan: After completing Step 2 of online Application Form, the candidate will be prompted to generate e-slip. Print e-slip on A4 size paper-Landscape format from NEET (UG) – 2019 website www.ntaneet.nic.in and follow instructions given on e-slip and make payment through e-challan.
Educational Qualification
Educational Qualifications Required to appear in the NEET 2019 Entrance Exam are given below.
- The Admission Seeker should have qualified the 12th or equivalent exam.
- Subjects must be Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Biotechnology with English as a compulsory subject.
- 10+2 appearing students are also eligible to apply.
- In the qualifying exam (PCB group), students should have obtained at least 50% marks for general, 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC/ST & OBC.
Number of Attempts
According to official instructions, Each Aspirant will be able to attempt National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) only 3 times in his/her lifetime.

Age Limit for appearing in NEET (UG) is as stipulated in Indian Medical Council Act-1956 and the Dentists Act-1948 as amended in 2018.
Eligibility as per related Regulations is as follows
- He/she has completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course.
- The upper age limit for NEET (UG) is 25 years as on the date of examination with the relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category and persons entitled for reservation under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
NEET 2019 Apply Online
All the candidates can apply online for the NTA NEET UG 2019 Entrance Exam on the NEET Official portal. Important steps a student must follow to apply for the National Eligibility Test are as follow.
Instructions for filling Online Application Form
Candidates must follow the instructions given below.
- Download Information Bulletin and Replica of Application Form. Read these carefully to ensure your eligibility.
- Follow the 4 steps given below to Apply Online:
- Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application No.
- Upload scanned images of Candidate’s Photograph (between 10 kb - 200 kb) and Candidate’s Signature (between 4 kb - 30kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
- Make payment of fee using suitable mode of payment through the bank as per details are given in Chapter – 4, (mode of submission of Application Form and payment of fee) and keep proof of fee paid.
- Print at least four printouts of Confirmation Page after successful remittance of fee.
- All the 4 Steps can be done together or at separate times.
Important Note:
Important notes for the students applying for the NEET UG 2019.
- The final submission of Online Application Form will remain incomplete if Step-2 and Step-3 are not completed. Such forms will stand rejected and no correspondence on this account will be entertained.
- No request for refund of fee once remitted by the candidate will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances.
- The entire application process of NEET (UG), May 2019 is online, including uploading of scanned images, Payment of Fees, and Printing of Confirmation Page. Therefore, candidates are not required to send/submit any document(s) including Confirmation Page to NTA through Post/ Fax/By Hand.
- The option of the medium of paper should be exercised while filling the Application Form and the option once exercised by candidates cannot be changed later.
- Candidates are advised to visit the NTA website regularly for latest updates.
NEET 2019 Exam Pattern
As to become a doctor in India a student must give NEET exam. This exam is the only selection test for MBBS / BDS course in India. Detailed NEET Exam Pattern 2019 is given below.
NEET 2019 Exam pattern will help the students to understand the type of questions will be asked in the entrance exam.

NEET Exam Pattern Important Points
- No. of Question: Total 180 questions will be asked in the exam.
- Exam Mode: Test will be OMR Based. The exam will be conducted through offline mode (pen and paper-based mode).
- Marking Scheme: Four marks will be given for each correct answer (+4 Marks). No mark will be awarded for the unanswered questions.
- Question paper: Students can take the question paper with them after the conduct of the exam.
- Negative Marking: One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer (-1 Mark).
- Duration: The exam duration will be 3 hours. No student will be allowed to leave the examination hall before 3 hours.
- Exam Centre: Paper will be conducted all over India.
- Subjects: Questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry & Biology (Zoology & Botany) subjects.
- Level of Questions: Questions will be asked from the CBSE Syllabus for class 11th and class 12th.
- Exam Duration: The exam duration will be 3 hours.
- Type of Question: There will be objective type questions (four options with one correct answer).
