- There shall be two papers of the OTET viz- Paper-I and Paper-II.
- The total duration of the test in each paper shall be 2½ hours.
- All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), each carrying one mark with four alternatives out of which one answer is correct.
- The question papers in non-language subjects shall be bilingual i.e. in Odia and English.
- Following languages shall be offered in Language – I:- Odia, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu, Bengali. The candidate has to choose any one of the above languages for Language-I subject.
- Language-II subject shall be English for all candidates.
- There shall be no negative marking.

OTET Result 2019
- BSE Odisha will announce the result of OTET 2019 at bseodisha.nic.in, bseodisha.ac.in.
- The Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test results are published via login.
- Candidates have to login to check their result indicating score obtained in paper 1/2, and whether they have qualified or not.
- Candidates who obtain marks equal to or more than the qualifying marks only are declared as qualified.
- Only those who qualify as per OTET results are provided with TET eligibility certificate and they can then participate in Odisha Teacher Recruitment for classes I to VIII.
