About ATMA 2027

AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) is a national-level management entrance examination conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). ATMA scores are used by participating institutions for admission to postgraduate management programmes including MBA, PGDM, MMS and, in some institutions and states, MCA. The examination assesses Analytical Reasoning, Verbal Skills and Quantitative Skills.

Educational Qualification Candidates must hold a Bachelor degree from a recognized university or institution.
Minimum Marks The official ATMA eligibility information specifies a minimum of 50% marks in the Bachelor degree.
University Recognition The Bachelor degree should be from a university or institution satisfying the recognition requirements prescribed by ATMA.
Final-Year Students Final-year Bachelor degree students can apply, subject to fulfilling the admission requirements of the participating institution.
CA Candidates Candidates who have completed CA can apply according to the official ATMA eligibility information.
Age Limit ATMA does not prescribe a separate upper age limit on its general eligibility page. Individual institutes may have additional requirements.
Work Experience Work experience is not a general eligibility requirement for appearing in ATMA. Individual management institutes may have their own selection criteria.
Photograph Candidates must upload a scanned photograph in the format and size specified in the official registration instructions.
Signature Candidates must upload a scanned signature as specified in the official registration instructions.
Government ID Candidates must carry a valid government-issued photo identification document to the examination centre.
Admit Card Candidates must carry the ATMA admit card and other documents specified in the examination instructions.

Test Centre ATMA is conducted as an online test at designated colleges, institutes or schools serving as examination centres.
Reporting Time Candidates should arrive at the test centre at least one hour before the examination begins unless the admit card specifies otherwise.
Test City Choice Candidates may provide test-city preferences during registration. Allocation is subject to availability.
Change of Test Centre Change of test centre is generally not permitted except in exceptional circumstances and subject to approval and availability.
ATMA Score The ATMA score is supplied to participating institutions for use in their postgraduate admission process.
ATMA Percentile Candidates receive score information used by participating institutions for shortlisting.
B-School Application Taking ATMA does not automatically apply a candidate to every participating B-school. Candidates must follow the individual institute application and admission process.
Selection Process After ATMA, participating institutions may conduct GD, PI, WAT or other selection stages according to their admission rules.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor degree from a recognized university or institution.
  • Minimum 50% marks in the Bachelor degree as specified by ATMA.
  • Final-year graduation students can apply subject to fulfilling the prescribed admission requirements.
  • Candidates who have completed CA may also apply.
  • The qualifying university/institution should satisfy the recognition requirements prescribed by ATMA and the admitting institution.
