These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ExamCompetition
website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By
creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do
not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any part of the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 13 years
old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and that you have the legal
capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a
minor, you represent that you are their parent or legal guardian.
2. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for
all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current and complete information during registration
- Promptly update your information to keep it accurate
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
- Not share your account credentials with any third party
3. Use of the Service
ExamCompetition grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and
use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes such as researching colleges and
entrance exams, taking practice tests, and seeking counselling guidance. This licence does
not include any resale, commercial use, or derivative use of the Platform or its content
without our prior written consent.
4. Content & Ownership
All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, exam data, college profiles,
and software — is owned by or licensed to ExamCompetition and is protected by applicable
intellectual property laws. Content you submit (such as reviews, questions, or forum posts)
remains yours, but by posting it you grant ExamCompetition a worldwide, royalty-free licence
to use, display, and distribute it in connection with operating the Platform.
College and exam information is compiled from publicly available sources and official
notifications. While we strive for accuracy, always verify critical details (dates, fees,
eligibility) on the official website before making decisions.
5. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or defamatory content about colleges, exams, or other users
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or other accounts
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract data without permission
- Upload viruses, malware, or any code designed to disrupt the Platform
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
6. Payments & Refunds
Certain features, such as premium test series or paid counselling sessions, may require
payment. All fees are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable taxes unless
stated otherwise. Refunds, where applicable, are processed as per the specific refund policy
stated at the time of purchase. Free counselling sessions and basic platform features remain
free of charge.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we
collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Platform, you consent to
the data practices described in that policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Platform and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without
warranties of any kind. ExamCompetition shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or
consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to
decisions made based on college rankings, cutoff predictions, or counselling advice, to the
maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate
these Terms or engage in conduct that we deem harmful to the Platform or its users. You may
also delete your account at any time through your account settings.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without
regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be
subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Delhi, India.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal
or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the
Platform or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Platform after changes take
effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
