The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) for admission to professional undergraduate courses in institutions in Bihar. The latest BCECE structure includes PCM, PCB and PCMB groups as well as Agriculture groups including CBA, MBA, MCA and PCA. The examination covers subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Agriculture according to the selected group. The examination is conducted in offline pen-and-paper mode. The latest official pattern provides separate subject papers, with 100 objective questions and 400 marks per subject. The official 2026 material also identifies B.Tech Dairy Technology, B.Tech Food Technology and B.Sc Poultry Production among courses/admission routes associated with BCECE, while some engineering admissions may also use JEE Main through the appropriate Bihar counselling process.
