About IISER Aptitude Test 2027

The IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) is the national entrance examination used for admission to undergraduate programmes offered by the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research. IISERs provide interdisciplinary science education integrated with research. The admission process includes the five-year BS-MS programme at IISERs and other programmes offered by individual IISERs.

  • Candidates seeking admission to the five-year BS-MS programme must have studied at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics during the qualifying examination.
