Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced), commonly known as JEE Advanced, is the entrance examination used for admission to undergraduate programmes at the Indian Institutes of Technology and other institutions/programmes that officially use JEE Advanced ranks. Candidates must satisfy the prescribed JEE Advanced eligibility criteria. For Indian candidates, qualification through the B.E./B.Tech paper of JEE Main is an important eligibility requirement. The examination consists of two compulsory papers.
