• Higher Secondary (10+2) pass from a recognized board or institution.
• Valid Computer Proficiency Certification Test (CPCT) qualification as prescribed.
• Hindi typing qualification as prescribed in the rulebook.
• Prescribed computer diploma, certificate or degree qualification, where applicable.
• Hindi shorthand qualification is required for the Subedar Stenographer post as prescribed.
• Candidates must satisfy the post-wise, category-wise and medical eligibility conditions.

The examination fee and MPOnline portal charges are governed by the official MPESB rulebook and application portal.

Stage 1: Online Written Examination

The first-stage examination is conducted in computer-based test mode. The detailed syllabus, question distribution, marks, duration and negative marking must be checked in the official rulebook.

Stage 2: Skill / Practical Test

Candidates may be required to qualify in the prescribed typing, shorthand or practical test according to the post code.

Stage 3: Document Verification

Shortlisted candidates must produce original documents and certificates as prescribed by MPESB.

Stage 4: Medical Examination

Candidates must satisfy the applicable medical fitness requirements prescribed for the relevant police post.

3. Read the official rulebook carefully.
4. Complete the candidate profile or required registration process.
5. Enter personal, educational, domicile and category details.
6. Select the eligible post codes and fill the required post preferences.
7. Upload the photograph, signature and other required documents.
8. Pay the examination fee and portal charges through the official portal.
9. Review the application form carefully.
10. Submit the application before 08 October 2026.
11. Save the application number and print the completed application.
