AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27 Northern Region

Graduate Apprentices

• Relevant full-time degree qualification in the disciplines specified by AAI.
• Eligible engineering degree, BCA or B.Com qualifications as prescribed.
• Degree candidates must satisfy the pass-out year condition in the notification.

Diploma / Technician Apprentices

• Relevant full-time diploma qualification in the prescribed discipline.
• Diploma must satisfy the applicable pass-out year condition.
• Qualification must be from an institution recognized under the applicable rules.

ITI Trade Apprentices

• Relevant ITI qualification in the prescribed trade.
• Applicants must register on the NAPS / Apprenticeship India portal.
• Trade eligibility must match the discipline mentioned in the official notice.

1. Shortlisting based on percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
2. CGPA conversion according to the norms of the concerned board or university.
3. Date of birth and date of passing may be used for tie-breaking, as prescribed.
4. Document verification and interview for shortlisted candidates.
5. Submission of medical fitness certificate at the time of joining.

Graduate and Diploma Candidates

1. Register on the official NATS portal.
2. Complete and verify the candidate profile.
3. Search for the relevant AAI Northern Region establishment.
4. Apply for the eligible discipline only.
5. Confirm that the application has been submitted successfully.

ITI Trade Candidates

1. Register on the official Apprenticeship India / NAPS portal.
2. Complete the required candidate profile.
3. Search for Airports Authority of India, RHQ Northern Region, New Delhi.
4. Select the relevant eligible ITI trade.
5. Submit the application and save the confirmation.

• Read the official AAI apprenticeship notification carefully.
• Register on NATS for Graduate/Diploma positions and NAPS for ITI positions.
• Verify the qualification and pass-out year requirements.
• Apply for only one eligible discipline.
• Submit the application before 16 September 2026.
• Keep registration and application confirmation details safely.
• Apprenticeship training does not guarantee regular employment with AAI.

The stipend structure is subject to the applicable apprenticeship rules and official AAI notification.

Apprenticeship training may be provided at airports and offices under the Northern Region of Airports Authority of India.

Possible locations and establishment-wise allocation are subject to the official notification, available seats and AAI allotment.
