Computer Science Qualification BE/BTech or equivalent in Computer Science Engineering with minimum 65% aggregate marks or CGPA 6.84/10.
Graduation Duration Graduation must have been completed within the stipulated duration of the course prescribed by the University.
CGPA and Percentage Where both CGPA and percentage are mentioned, at least one must meet ISRO eligibility norms. Where only CGPA is mentioned, CGPA conversion to percentage is not permitted.
Allied Disciplines Acceptable allied BE/BTech disciplines are specified in the official FAQ issued for this advertisement.
Maximum Age Limit Maximum age is 28 years as on 16 September 2026.
Age Relaxation Serving Central Government civilian employees, Ex-Servicemen and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities are eligible for age relaxation as per Government of India orders.
Initial Processing Fee All candidates initially have to pay Rs. 750 as processing fee.
Application Fee A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 250 applies to candidates not exempted from the application fee.
Full Refund Category Women, SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates receive full processing fee refund if they appear in the Written Test or CBT.
Other Candidates Refund Candidates other than exempted categories receive Rs. 500 refund after deduction of Rs. 250 application fee, provided they appear in the Written Test or CBT.
Fee Payment Mode Payment is accepted through Bharatkosh e-Payment gateway using Internet Banking, UPI or Domestic Debit Card.
Photograph Recent colour passport-size photograph. Preferred dimensions 200 x 230 pixels. File size between 100 KB and 200 KB.
Signature Signature in black ink on white paper. Preferred dimensions 140 x 60 pixels. File size between 80 KB and 150 KB. Signature should not be in capital letters.
Supporting Certificate SC, ST, PwBD or Ex-Servicemen certificate is required where applicable for processing fee refund.

Interview Travel Allowance Candidates attending interview are reimbursed to and fro second-class train fare by the shortest route from the city indicated in the online application.
Answer Key Answer keys will be published on the ISRO website within three working days after the Written Test or CBT. Objections may be submitted within five days through the prescribed link.

Selection Process

Written Test / CBT

Written Test or CBT is conducted at notified examination centres. Call letters are sent only to the registered e-mail ID.

Part A - Discipline Test

80 multiple-choice questions for 80 marks covering the relevant engineering discipline. +1 for each correct answer, 0 for unattempted questions and -1/3 for each wrong answer.

Part B - Aptitude / Ability Test

Maximum 15 multiple-choice questions for 20 marks covering numerical, logical, diagrammatic, abstract and deductive reasoning. No negative marking.

Written Test Qualification

Unreserved candidates must score 50% separately in Part A and Part B. PwBD candidates, where posts are reserved, require 40% separately in each part.

Interview Shortlisting

Candidates are shortlisted for interview based on written test performance in the ratio of 1:5, with an aggregate minimum of 10 candidates. Reserved vacancies are considered separately as prescribed.

Interview

Interview assessment covers technical knowledge, technical general awareness, presentation and communication skill, comprehension and academic achievements.

Final Selection

Final panel is prepared with 50% weightage to Written Test or CBT marks and 50% weightage to Interview marks.

Final Qualifying Criteria

Unreserved candidates require 50% in Written Test or CBT, 50% in Interview and 60% aggregate. PwBD candidates where posts are reserved require 40% in Written Test or CBT, 40% in Interview and 50% aggregate.

Original documents supporting all details entered in the online application must be produced at the time of interview.
