Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority has released the Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) Recruitment 2026 notification for 30 posts. General Stream Master's Degree or minimum two-year Post Graduate Diploma in any discipline, OR Bachelor's Degree in Law, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, OR prescribed professional qualifications including ACA/FCA, ACS/FCS, ACMA/FCMA or CFA.
Maximum Age Candidate must not exceed 30 years of age as per the prescribed eligibility cut-off date.
UR / EWS / OBC Application fee of Rs. 1,000 including applicable GST is payable by applicable candidates.
Phase I Paper 1 – English Language Objective questions from English Language.
Phase II Paper 1 Descriptive English paper testing written communication and drafting ability.
Organization The selected candidates will serve under the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority.
Maximum Streams Candidates may apply for up to two streams subject to satisfying the eligibility requirements.
Research Stream Master's Degree or minimum two-year Post Graduate qualification in prescribed subjects including Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Econometrics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and other notified related disciplines.
SC / ST Age Relaxation Upper age relaxation is applicable to eligible SC and ST candidates as per the prescribed rules.
SC / ST Eligible SC and ST candidates are exempted from payment of application fee as per the recruitment advertisement.
Phase I Paper 1 – Quantitative Aptitude Objective questions from Quantitative Aptitude.
Phase II Paper 2 Objective examination containing questions related to the selected stream and prescribed syllabus.
Job Location Posting and transfer are subject to organizational requirements and applicable service conditions.
Separate Application Separate applications are required for different streams.
Actuary Stream Graduation from a recognized University or Institute along with the prescribed Actuarial qualification, including pass or exemption in the required Core Principles subjects of the Institute of Actuaries of India.
OBC-NCL Age Relaxation Upper age relaxation is applicable to eligible OBC Non-Creamy Layer candidates.
PwBD Eligible PwBD candidates are exempted from application fee as prescribed.
Phase I Paper 1 – Reasoning Objective questions from Test of Reasoning.
Phase II Shortlisting Candidates qualifying according to the prescribed Phase II criteria are shortlisted for Phase III Interview.
Probation Selected candidates are governed by the applicable probation and service rules of PFRDA.
Document Verification Original documents and certificates must be produced whenever required during the recruitment process.
Official Language (Rajbhasha) Stream Master's Degree in Hindi, Hindi Translation, Sanskrit, English, Economics or Commerce with the prescribed Hindi and English subject combination at Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree level.
PwBD Age Relaxation Age relaxation is available to eligible Persons with Benchmark Disabilities as prescribed.
Eligible Ex-Servicemen Eligible Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from application fee according to the recruitment conditions.
Phase I Paper 1 – General Awareness General Awareness including relevant Financial Sector topics.
Computer Literacy Candidates should be computer literate and conversant with MS Word, MS Excel and related computer applications.
Ex-Servicemen Age Relaxation Age relaxation is applicable to eligible Ex-Servicemen candidates according to the recruitment rules.
Payment Mode Application fee must be paid through the prescribed online payment mode.
Phase I Paper 1 Total Paper 1 is the common paper for candidates.
Phase I Paper 2 Paper 2 consists of stream-specific questions related to the selected stream.

Qualification: Qualification varies according to the selected stream. Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification for General, Research, Actuary or Official Language (Rajbhasha) stream.

  • Candidate must fulfil the prescribed educational qualification for the selected stream.
  • Candidate must satisfy the age eligibility conditions as prescribed in the recruitment advertisement.
  • Candidates must be computer literate and conversant with MS Office applications including MS Word and MS Excel.
  • A candidate may apply for a maximum of two streams subject to fulfilling the eligibility conditions of each stream.
