Candidates are shortlisted according to the screening guidelines. Ordinarily, 40 candidates for the first vacancy and 20 candidates for every additional vacancy in each category are called for interview in order of merit, subject to the prescribed rules.
Shortlisted candidates undergo presentation assessment. Assessment includes writing skills, communication skills, humility, passion and zeal for teaching. Candidates absent from the presentation assessment are not permitted to appear before the Selection Committee.
