Union Public Service Commission has invited online recruitment applications under Special Advertisement No. 51/2026 for 828 vacancies comprising 124 Principal posts and 704 Vice Principal posts in the Education Department, Government of NCT of Delhi. The recruitment includes a Combined Recruitment Test followed by interview. The Combined Recruitment Test is scheduled for 1 November 2026.

| Combined Recruitment Test Syllabus | The syllabus includes General Knowledge including contemporary social, economic and cultural issues; Hindi and English language skills; Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude; Educational Policies and Educational Measurement and Evaluation; Management and Financial Administration; Office Procedure; Pedagogy in Education; and Digital Literacy. |

A Pen and Paper Based Combined Recruitment Test will be conducted for Principal and Vice Principal posts.
Candidates shortlisted through the Combined Recruitment Test will be called for interview after scrutiny of eligibility and supporting documents.
Final merit will be determined using 75% weightage for Combined Recruitment Test marks and 25% weightage for Interview marks.
