UPSSSC PET 2026 is the Preliminary Eligibility Test conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission for candidates seeking eligibility for various Group C recruitments.
Candidates must have passed High School or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or institution.
The prescribed age range is 18 to 40 years as on 01 July 2026, subject to applicable age relaxation rules.
No. PET is an eligibility and screening examination. Vacancies are announced separately through individual UPSSSC recruitment notifications.
The prescribed fee is Rs. 185 for General, OBC and EWS candidates, Rs. 95 for SC and ST candidates, and Rs. 25 for PwD or Divyang candidates.
The PET examination consists of 100 objective questions carrying 100 marks and is conducted for a duration of 2 hours with negative marking for incorrect answers.
Yes. Candidates are required to complete the UPSSSC One Time Registration process before applying for PET 2026.
