Age Relaxation SC/ST/OBC candidates of Uttar Pradesh may receive up to 5 years relaxation. Persons with disabilities may receive up to 15 years relaxation. Ex-servicemen may receive 3 years relaxation subject to the conditions prescribed in the advertisement.
EWS Reservation EWS candidates who satisfy the prescribed conditions and are original residents of Uttar Pradesh are eligible for 10% reservation.

Selection Process

Computer Based Test

The competitive examination is objective type and contains questions related to nursing. 80% of the questions are based on theoretical knowledge and 20% are based on practical knowledge.

CBT Merit

Candidates are arranged in merit order on the basis of marks obtained in the competitive examination, subject to the applicable reservation and selection rules.

Biometric and Document Verification

Shortlisted candidates undergo biometric verification and document verification from the concerned authorities.

Medical Examination

Selected candidates are required to undergo the prescribed medical examination.

Negative Marking

One-fourth of the marks prescribed for a question will be deducted for every wrong answer. No negative marking is applied to an unanswered question.
