Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), Greater Noida, an autonomous institute under the Government of Uttar Pradesh, has invited online applications for direct recruitment to 100 Staff Nurse posts through Computer Based Test (CBT) Examination-2026. Advertisement No. GIMS/2026/Manpower/NT-03/10 is dated 09 August 2026. The online application window opens on 10 August 2026 and the last date for application is 07 September 2026. The vacancies comprise 40 UR, 27 OBC, 21 SC, 2 ST and 10 EWS posts. The competitive examination is objective type and contains questions related to nursing. 80% of the questions are based on theoretical knowledge and 20% are based on practical knowledge.
Candidates are arranged in merit order on the basis of marks obtained in the competitive examination, subject to the applicable reservation and selection rules.
Shortlisted candidates undergo biometric verification and document verification from the concerned authorities.
Selected candidates are required to undergo the prescribed medical examination.
One-fourth of the marks prescribed for a question will be deducted for every wrong answer. No negative marking is applied to an unanswered question.
