Eligible Officers Officers under the Central Government who satisfy the prescribed eligibility conditions under the applicable Recruitment Rules may apply.
Service Requirement Officers holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the present cadre or department, or officers fulfilling the prescribed regular service requirement in the relevant pay level or equivalent grade, are eligible subject to the Recruitment Rules.
Required Experience Candidates must possess the prescribed experience in enforcement of regulatory laws or investigation of offences and collection of intelligence relating thereto.

Period of Deputation The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment shall be governed by the applicable Government of India rules and the Recruitment Rules.
