Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, under the Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Government of India, has invited applications for filling up one post of Professor of Law. The post is General Central Service, Group A, Gazetted and carries Level-13A of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix with a pay range of ₹1,31,100–₹2,16,600. The post is to be filled by deputation including short-term contract. Eligible officers from Central Government, State Governments, Union Territories, Public Sector Undertakings, Universities, recognized Government Research Institutions, Semi-Government and Statutory Organizations may apply subject to the prescribed eligibility conditions. The notice provides alternative qualification and experience routes involving an LLM with prescribed legal teaching, training, research, judicial or Bar experience, or an LLB with prescribed judicial service or legal practice experience. Desirable qualifications include experience as District and Sessions Judge or a Doctorate Degree in Law. The maximum age limit is 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. The period of deputation or contract, including any immediately preceding ex-cadre deputation or contract in another Central Government organization, ordinarily should not exceed four years.
