About This Recruitment

The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has invited applications for filling up various posts in NCLT Benches on deputation/absorption basis through Notification dated 21 May 2026. The recruitment covers 13 categories of posts with 106 tentative vacancies across NCLT Benches in India. The posts include Joint Registrar, Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Programmer, Court Officer, Private Secretary, Senior Legal Assistant, Assistant, Stenographer Grade-I/Personal Assistant, Cashier, Record Assistant, Upper Division Clerk and Staff Car Driver. Mode of Recruitment The posts are to be filled on deputation/absorption basis as prescribed in the advertisement.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: Eligibility varies by post. Depending on the post, candidates must be officers/officials of Central Government, State Governments, Union Territories, Courts, Tribunals or statutory organisations and must satisfy the prescribed regular service, pay-level, educational qualification and relevant experi

  • Candidates must possess the prescribed regular service in the relevant grade/pay level or an analogous post
  • Relevant educational qualifications and experience must be possessed as prescribed for the particular post
  • A degree in law from a recognised University is prescribed for Joint Registrar and Deputy Registrar posts
  • Experience in personnel, administrative, establishment or court matters is prescribed for relevant posts
  • Maximum age limit for appointment on deputation is 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications
  • Willing and eligible officers must submit the application through proper channel
