Airports Authority of India, Regional Headquarters Northern Region, invites applications for engagement of Graduate/Degree, Diploma/Technician and ITI Trade Apprentices for the one-year Apprenticeship Training Program for 2026-27. A total of 205 seats are notified: 80 Graduate Apprentices, 65 Diploma Apprentices and 60 Trade Apprentices. Training is for 12 months at various airports and establishments in the Northern Region. Selection is primarily merit-based on qualifying examination marks, followed by document verification/interview and medical fitness.

| Year of Passing | Candidates who passed their degree or diploma in 2024 or after 2024 are eligible. |
| Previous Apprenticeship | Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship training, terminated apprenticeship midway, or are currently pursuing apprenticeship in another organization or AAI with the same qualification level are not eligible. |
| Previous Work Experience | Candidates who have apprenticeship training or job experience of one year or more after attaining the essential qualification are not eligible for engagement as apprentice. |
| Training Duration | The apprenticeship training period is 12 months from commencement of the apprenticeship contract. |
| Training Location | Apprentices will undergo training at notified airports, stations, units and offices of AAI in the Northern Region. The allocated airport, station or unit is final and cannot be changed later. |
| Employment After Apprenticeship | AAI has no obligation to provide regular employment after completion of apprenticeship. The apprenticeship does not create any right to claim regular employment or placement with AAI. |
| Apprenticeship Contract | Selected apprentices must sign and accept the apprenticeship training contract on the NATS/NAPS portal immediately after joining AAI. |
| Contract Termination | After completion of the stipulated 12-month apprenticeship training, the apprenticeship contract automatically ceases. Indiscipline may result in cancellation of the contract and discontinuation of training. |

Provisional selection is made on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. In case of equal percentage, date of birth and thereafter date of passing are used for seniority.
Eligible and shortlisted candidates are called for document verification at the establishment office through their registered email IDs.
Shortlisted candidates may be called for interview/document verification as communicated by the establishment through registered email.
Candidates must submit a Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining. The certificate is to be obtained from a Government Medical Officer or Medical Officer of a Government Undertaking.
After document verification and medical fitness, candidates are selected for training based on merit and an apprentice engagement letter is issued.
