The post carries a pay scale of Rs. 40,000 - 3% - Rs. 1,40,000 with initial basic pay of Rs. 40,000 along with applicable DA, HRA, perquisites, Performance Related Pay and other benefits. Candidates must possess a full-time Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB/BL) from a recognized Indian University. General candidates should have First Class, while PwBD candidates should have Pass Class. The maximum age is 25 years as on 01 July 2026 for UR candidates. Selection comprises a Written Test followed by Interview. The Written Test carries 85 marks and the Interview carries 15 marks. Candidates shortlisted for interview are taken in a 1:5 ratio. The application is submitted in the prescribed format through post and must reach BEL Bengaluru by 20 August 2026.

Candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria are shortlisted for the Written Test.
Eligible candidates appear for the Written Test. The Written Test carries 85 marks. The venue is Bengaluru only.
Candidates qualifying in the Written Test are provisionally shortlisted for Interview in the ratio of 1:5. The Interview carries 15 marks.
Final selection is based on the combined performance in the Written Test and Interview, subject to the prescribed qualifying marks and other conditions.
